The Emergence of President Obama’s Muslim Roots

ABC News’ Jake Tapper and Sunlen Miller report: The other day we heard a comment from a White House aide that never would have been uttered during the primaries or general election campaign.

During a conference call in preparation for President Obama’s trip to Cairo, Egypt, where he will address the Muslim world, deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications Denis McDonough said “the President himself experienced Islam on three continents before he was able to — or before he’s been able to visit, really, the heart of the Islamic world — you know, growing up in Indonesia, having a Muslim father — obviously Muslim Americans (are) a key part of Illinois and Chicago.”

Given widespread unease and prejudice against Muslims among Americans, especially in the wake of 9/11, the Obama campaign was perhaps understandably very sensitive during the primaries and general election to downplay the candidate’s Muslim roots.

The candidate was even offended when referred to by his initials “BHO,” because he considered the use of his middle name, “Hussein,” an attempt to frighten voters.

With insane rumors suggesting he was some sort of Muslim Manchurian candidate, then-Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and his campaign did everything they could to emphasize his Christianity and de-emphasize the fact that his father, Barack Obama Sr., was born Muslim.

The candidate’s comment at a Boca Raton, Florida, town hall meeting on May 22, 2008, was typical: “My father was basically agnostic, as far as I can tell, and I didn’t know him,” he said.

In September 2008, candidate Obama told a Pennsylvania crowd, “I know that I’m not your typical presidential candidate and I just want to be honest with you. I know that the temptation is to say, ‘You know what? The guy hasn’t been there that long in Washington. You know, he’s got a funny name. You know, we’re not sure about him.’ And that’s what the Republicans when they say this isn’t about issues, it’s about personalities, what they’re really saying is, ‘We’re going to try to scare people about Barack. So we’re going to say that, you know, maybe he’s got Muslim connections.’…Just making stuff up.”

Back then, the campaign’s “Fight the Smears” website addressed the candidate’s faith without mentioning his father’s religion:

“Barack Obama is a committed Christian. He was sworn into the Senate on his family Bible. He has regularly attended church with his wife and daughters for years. But shameful, shadowy attackers have been lying about Barack’s religion, claiming he is a Muslim instead of a committed Christian. When people fabricate stories about someone’s faith to denigrate them politically, that’s an attack on people of all faiths. Make sure everyone you know is aware of this deception.”

The website also provided quotes from the Boston Globe and Newsweek mentioning his father’s roots.

Since the election, however, with the threat of the rumors at least somewhat abated, the White House has been increasingly forthcoming about the president’s roots. Especially when reaching out to the
Muslim world.

In his April 6 address to the Turkish Parliament, President Obama referenced how many “Americans have Muslims in their families or have lived in a Muslim majority country. I know, because I am one of them.”

We new Obama was a globalist, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We now know he INTENDS on relinquishing U.S. National Sovereignty to the U.N. or a glorified E.U. The big “O” and his New World prophetess Oprah have Harpo’d on this subject of a “New Earth” since before the campaign. With Obama’s legendary NWO rally speech in Berlin pre-election-win, and the continued economic “perfect storm” it looks like there is a clear way to set the stage for the NWO take over. Collapse the American economy by jack’n up the gas prices [ OPEC cartel] Everyone spends on credit to advert the cost, credit bubble bursts, housing crisis starts, and then you have the collapse of the U.S. banking system. I guess it’s time to merg back in to Big brother Europe for stable currency. Or start the Amero. As a Russian writer wrote recently “America will fall and be divided into six pieces and amount to nothing” This may be true with these ideas diving Americans on very thick lines, this could be the start of a new civil war, with six internal battle fields.

So it’s all a set up. But who is pulling the strings? We’ll we know at least who is the “face ” of the matter.. This ” O” , this circle, a whole, the Earth, the shape of it , it all points to his destiny . We will see the third temple rise, as it of course is the ” World’s temple” as the Israeli temple mount institute purports.

And now for a world government

I have never believed that there is a secret United Nations plot to take over the US. I have never seen black helicopters hovering in the sky above Montana. But, for the first time in my life, I think the formation of some sort of world government is plausible.

A “world government” would involve much more than co-operation between nations. It would be an entity with state-like characteristics, backed by a body of laws. The European Union has already set up a continental government for 27 countries, which could be a model. The EU has a supreme court, a currency, thousands of pages of law, a large civil service and the ability to deploy military force.

So could the European model go global? There are three reasons for thinking that it might.

First, it is increasingly clear that the most difficult issues facing national governments are international in nature: there is global warming, a global financial crisis and a “global war on terror”.

Second, it could be done. The transport and communications revolutions have shrunk the world so that, as Geoffrey Blainey, an eminent Australian historian, has written: “For the first time in human history, world government of some sort is now possible.” Mr Blainey foresees an attempt to form a world government at some point in the next two centuries, which is an unusually long time horizon for the average newspaper column.

But – the third point – a change in the political atmosphere suggests that “global governance” could come much sooner than that. The financial crisis and climate change are pushing national governments towards global solutions, even in countries such as China and the US that are traditionally fierce guardians of national sovereignty.

Barack Obama, America’s president-in-waiting, does not share the Bush administration’s disdain for international agreements and treaties. In his book, The Audacity of Hope, he argued that: “When the world’s sole superpower willingly restrains its power and abides by internationally agreed-upon standards of conduct, it sends a message that these are rules worth following.” The importance that Mr Obama attaches to the UN is shown by the fact that he has appointed Susan Rice, one of his closest aides, as America’s ambassador to the UN, and given her a seat in the cabinet.

A taste of the ideas doing the rounds in Obama circles is offered by a recent report from the Managing Global Insecurity project, whose small US advisory group includes John Podesta, the man heading Mr Obama’s transition team and Strobe Talbott, the president of the Brookings Institution, from which Ms Rice has just emerged.

The MGI report argues for the creation of a UN high commissioner for counter-terrorist activity, a legally binding climate-change agreement negotiated under the auspices of the UN and the creation of a 50,000-strong UN peacekeeping force. Once countries had pledged troops to this reserve army, the UN would have first call upon them.

These are the kind of ideas that get people reaching for their rifles in America’s talk-radio heartland. Aware of the political sensitivity of its ideas, the MGI report opts for soothing language. It emphasises the need for American leadership and uses the term, “responsible sovereignty” – when calling for international co-operation – rather than the more radical-sounding phrase favoured in Europe, “shared sovereignty”. It also talks about “global governance” rather than world government.

But some European thinkers think that they recognise what is going on. Jacques Attali, an adviser to President Nicolas Sarkozy of France, argues that: “Global governance is just a euphemism for global government.” As far as he is concerned, some form of global government cannot come too soon. Mr Attali believes that the “core of the international financial crisis is that we have global financial markets and no global rule of law”.

So, it seems, everything is in place. For the first time since homo sapiens began to doodle on cave walls, there is an argument, an opportunity and a means to make serious steps towards a world government.

But let us not get carried away. While it seems feasible that some sort of world government might emerge over the next century, any push for “global governance” in the here and now will be a painful, slow process.

There are good and bad reasons for this. The bad reason is a lack of will and determination on the part of national, political leaders who – while they might like to talk about “a planet in peril” – are ultimately still much more focused on their next election, at home.

But this “problem” also hints at a more welcome reason why making progress on global governance will be slow sledding. Even in the EU – the heartland of law-based international government – the idea remains unpopular. The EU has suffered a series of humiliating defeats in referendums, when plans for “ever closer union” have been referred to the voters. In general, the Union has progressed fastest when far-reaching deals have been agreed by technocrats and politicians – and then pushed through without direct reference to the voters. International governance tends to be effective, only when it is anti-democratic.

The world’s most pressing political problems may indeed be international in nature, but the average citizen’s political identity remains stubbornly local. Until somebody cracks this problem, that plan for world government may have to stay locked away in a safe at the UN.

James Dobson on Obama

Even though the elections are over , we still have to deal with the case that is B. H. Obama.

And his “religion” clearly he is not Christian, as he knows nothing about the Christian view of the Bible as explained here by Dr James Dobson.

We also know he is no the first ”black president” as he is really only half African-American and really more white than truly black. So no one group is claiming him, which leaves him as his own thing, bringing in his own brand of ethnicity and religion. But the truth is this does nothing to untie groups, it homogenizes them. Which is the ideal of communism and socialism. It doesn’t let everyone have their view, it seeks to strip every one of theirs and we are left with basic humanism and dictatorial control

The election of Barack Obama as president of the United States was a defeat for the Christian right, but that doesn’t mean that faith didn’t play a major role in Obama’s resounding victory. While the Republican Party ran under the mantra of “God and country,” Obama tapped into something possibly even bigger — God and spirit.

A survey out this month revealed that 52% of Americans age 12 to 25 say that they don’t trust organized religion, but that they are increasingly spiritual. According to the Minneapolis-based Search Institute, young people are turning away from their churches, mosques and temples and finding God in nature, music, friends and community service.

A 2008 University of California Los Angeles study showed that 62% of college students see themselves as spiritual and believe attaining inner peace is an essential life goal. In that study, spirituality was defined as caring about the condition of others and of the world.

It’s easy to see how Obama’s rhetoric would appeal to them, and to the countless adults who consider themselves nonreligious, but spiritual. His language of hope resonated with the spiritual teachings of love over fear. For the spiritual-minded, community organizing is not something to ridicule, but to emulate. I can’t tell you how many e-mails and bumper stickers I see bearing the Gandhi quote: “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”

Change — now there’s a holy idea.

Deep connections

Opponents pegged Obama’s optimism as naive. But his political rhetoric dovetailed with a pervasive spirituality that teaches that words and thoughts do shape reality. Want to know the secret? Thinking can indeed make it so.

Obama’s exhortation for Americans to transcend difference was also in synch with a spiritual world view. When the Dalai Lama received the Congressional Gold Medal in 2007, he, too, urged America to govern “from the perspective of the oneness of humanity, and from a profound understanding of the deeply interconnected nature of today’s world.”

Even Obama’s slogan, “Yes we can,” could have been out of the mouths of the best-selling spiritual writers of our time, from Wayne Dyer to Deepak Chopra to Eckhart Tolle.

An army of believers

On the day after the election, Marianne Williamson, author of “Healing the Soul of America,” e-mailed a mass message. In it, she observed that “the Obama phenomenon did not come out of nowhere. It emerged as much from our story as from his — as much from our yearning for meaning as from his ambition to be President.”

For those of us who have learned to expect a miracle, we got it in our new president. But the real miracle has been our own spiritual awakening that made his election possible.

Whether President-elect Obama knows it or not, he is backed by an army of believers — people who understand that the promised change is not just his responsibility, but the responsibility of each of us.

Obama, symbol of curse on U.S.

Obama, represents a curse that is over a our country, a mark and a sign of the favor of God waning, or that something will happen. This Obama, and with Oprah, the two “O’s” , this is an “O” for Omen, for a sign. The curse.

The wild fires in California are direct hits, on the people and the Woman, who paid for Obama to become president. Oprah’s own home, now under threat by the wild fire at nearly hurricane force fire winds. Obama is of mixed racial and religious background, and represents nothing of “new” change, but only a change into the more extreme versions of liberal socialist and marxist thought in society.

Obama, is not a symbol of God’s grace on our country but a “getting of what we deserve, what we wanted”

God is gracious in the respect that He does honor our free will, but when we get what we want, is it everything we were hoping for , or does it mean our demise..

Obama of humanist and secular, if no New Age beliefs, is clearing bent on an agenda of making this a marxist style society. He is the Mark of God’s disapproval of our choices. This is false hope, this is deception, this is bigbrother, this is 1984, this is the last days.

1. When was he born? 1961
2. Was his father a diplomat? Well, no, but he did serve as an economist in Kenya’s Treasury department.
3. His parents both passed away before his rise to power.
4. His good friend, Tony Rezko, the man to raise the first 15 mil for Obama’s campaign will be awarded by spending 15 years to life in prison, for improperly raising campaign contributions for democratic candidates. He will be sentenced after the election. In the Omen, the ones who helped him were not given great treasures for helping him. Instead they were punished.
5. He has a prominant mark on the top back part of his head. This was shown in the 2nd debate. It resembles a pentagram, which is a sign of the beast.

On November 4th, he will become the most powerful man in the world.

By using only his great charisma, many will blindly follow after him.

He will make many promises, and by his boasting, will deceive the masses.

His people (the world media) will hide his evil deeds, and will magnify him without ceasing.

He will not stop at taking over the country. He will not stop at taking over the world.

It’s Temple time, Call to Rebuild Jewish Temple

Built by King Solomon about 950 BCE and destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BCE because of flagrant sin in the nation, the Temple was rebuilt about 70 years later but raised by the Romans in 70 CE. This time, according to the Talmud, because of causeless hatred of one Jew for another.

It’s difficult for modern man to understand what the Temple was: A material dwelling place for the immaterial God, visible proof that God was with His people. It was a site suffused by the Holy Spirit, where, according to the Talmud, 10 standing miracles could be witnessed by all visitors, and to which all the nations are destined to flock in order to experience the divine. When the Second Temple was lost, the whole world was darkened.

For millennia Jews have remembered and mourned the destruction of the Temple on Tisha Be’Av by fasting and reading Lamentations, and by traditions such as crushing a glass at weddings or leaving a patch of wall opposite the entrance to one’s home unpainted – each stressing that no joy can be perfect or complete without the Temple.

Talmud scholar Rabbi Yochanan wrote: “During these times that the Temple is demolished, a person is not allowed to fill his mouth with laughter. This is because the verse (Psalms 126) says, ‘then our mouths will be filled with laughter,’ and does not say ‘now our mouths will be filled with laughter.’

The rabbi continues: “And when is ‘then?’ ‘Then’ will be when the Third Temple is rebuilt.”

Many believe that just as the re-establishment of Israel moved from being an ancient prophecy to a whispered prayer to a dream to a wild hope to a controversial movement and finally blossomed into a stunning, miraculous though still incomplete reality, so too will the Temple – the jewel in the crown of God’s nation – move from the pages of the Bible into the here and now. Two thousand years of persecution and exile will become as insubstantial as smoke, and “we shall be as people in a dream.” Rabbi Chaim Richman is one such man. His reason is as simple as it is profound: “Jewish life without the Temple is like fish out of water.”
